Our Pastor, David Saxton

With 30 years of ministry experience, David Saxton serves as the pastor of Cambridge Bible Church. He and his wife of 25 years, Mary Beth, have five daughters, two son-in-law’s, and one grandchild. David Saxton has taken Bible degrees from Bob Jones University, Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. He enjoys studying Christian authors from the past, such as J.C. Ryle, C.H. Spurgeon, Thomas Watson, Jonathan Edwards, and Jerry Bridges. He has recently authored "God’s Battle Plan for the Mind: the Puritan Practice of Biblical Meditation." In his free time, he and his wife enjoy country drives, smoking baby back ribs, and rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Elder Jay Ball

Is retired from the Zanesville Fire Department and now works as an electrician. He and his wife Kelly live on their family farm in Chandlersville, Ohio. They have two grown daughters, one son-in-law, two cute grandchildren, and a number of cows.


Elder Tom Cooper 

Runs his family farm in Antrim, Ohio, and is a trained EMT. In addition to serving as an elder, Tom is involved in our financial planning and overseeing all financial matters in the assembly.



Elder Adam West

He and his wife Karen, and their 3 grown sons and 2 daughters-in-law. They and their sons own and operate a local quarry and sewer camera inspection and cleaning business. Adam helps in teen ministry and nursing home ministry at CBC.

Deacon Kevin Olden 

Has retired as a technician with Columbia Gas. He and his wife Pam live near New Concord. They have two married children and 6 grandchildren. Although primarily focus on the care and upkeep of our church property, Kevin is also active in our nursing home ministry.
